Watershed Restoration

Our Full Circle Schools Restoration Ecology Education Program offers a collaborative community-based approach for all-age education, long-term investment in the restoration workforce, revegetation, site maintenance, monitoring and restoration projects at numerous “Adopted” sites.
The Cottonwood Creek watershed and Colestin Valley area is an area adopted for restoration by Lomakatsi Restoration Project.

Lomakatsi Nurseries

Nurseries are the backbone of the Full Circle Schools Restoration Ecology Education program. In these low tech facilities created by Lomakatsi, we carefully grow 45 native species of trees and shrubs to a size and stature that ensure maximum rates of survival in the field.
