Private lands comprise an important percentage of forestlands, which often represent ecological strongholds and significant islands of biodiversity that have not subjected to continual resource extraction and degradation.In conjunction with performing restoration work, LRP promotes ‘Conservation Easements’ to legally protect the land in perpetuity from commercial resource extraction activities.
